Apparently ......... grumbling, but bitter melon is actually a vegetable that has a good source of vitamins. In addition to low calorie and high fiber, bitter melon contains vitamin B1, B2, B3, C, magnesium, folic acid, iron, phosphorus and manganese.

Maybe you've heard that bitter melon is for people with diabetes. This is true because the constituents of melon contains a unique phyto-certified member called charantin hypoglysemic effects.

In addition, there is also a compound called insulin-like polipeptide P given to diabetic patients as a substitute for insulin.
